For years in the North Market, where I opened my first shop, there was a “best pad Thai” rivalry. One shop’s sign proclaimed “Best pad Thai in the Market,” which was met by another shop’s “Best pad Thai in Columbus.” As the debate heated, I created Bangkok Peanut (originally Thai Chili), and, with my tongue firmly in cheek declared it "Best Pad Thai in the WORLD!"
